Ok, Sundays raid didnt go off due to no shows and other bs... If you're signed up you are EXPECTED to show up, and not leave at the last minute. I get only 1 day a week to raid and this sundays gruuls thingy really had me bummed! I am proposing this: (first offense) If you no show a 1 week suspension and automatic demotion in ranking, (second offense) @ weeks penalty and bottom demotion and a 2 week reassasment period (you may just get kicked). (third offense) You're gone, period! end of story!

yea. we have been nice and lienant and ya'll have just walked all over us and abusing our trying to be nice and understanding. well last night was the final straw.

just so you people know.. here's what the no shows costed people.
1) porchy can only raid on sundays thus he didn't get to raid this week.
2) gettum drove over an hr drive to get to killer's house so that he could go. you wasted his real life gas money.
3) it was rogath's birthday. he could have been out celebrating his birthday but he was there ready to go. kinda a fucked up birthday to him doncha think Sad

4) veagan spent about1k gold respecting and getting heal gear and enchants just to fill the last remaining heal slot.

imo these 4 people deserve your deepest apologies from those who no showed no matter WHAT your excuse was.

this is not to mention the other 15 people who was there and ready whose time you wasted waiting around just to see you people bail.

I wasnt signed up to go but i stepped in at the last minute. It is sooooo rude and inconsiderate for ppl to sign up and not show. Yes, rl does happen things come up that is understood. But, it's happening a lot more lately, imo. If you sign up you need to be absoluetly surely positive you can be there on time and ready! As for me, i check my schedule before i sign up for anything, and if there is someting i have forgotten about i let those raid leaders know as soon as i remember so they can fill my spot. If you sign up and you are not into it (raid), or you are just half ass into this, than do not sign up! We want ppl who WANT to be there. If you dont want to be there dont sign up because you think you have to or you think its expected of you. And, if you sign up, and have alts or whatever, plz sign up ONLY the toon you want to take. I saw a sign up that had both toons signed, one was on the list to go and they bailed at the last minute. NOT COOL! Sooooo, just sign the ones you want to go, if there is and alt that maybe better to go, the raid leader may ask if you might want to bring that one. So, in short (to late) plz show when you signed up and dont sign up unless you really want to go, and plz be considerate of others.

I can see how that could have been really fucking annoying. I only sign up as back up for fridays as i dont know how long my daughters dad will have her for. ALSO if i sign up as backup i always check if i'm needed before going and doing something else. Why?? BECAUSE I have said i will be there, even as back up if someone has to leave around the time i get on, and they have been given a spot knowing i'll be on for back up DPS/Tanking and i dont show can mean raid is killed an hour or so earlier... And i totally agree with porchy's suggestion

Wow, not really the post I was looking to do myself, but all true none-the-less. Cept for that 1k gold thing, it was more like 350 gold. Still gonna post mine in a bit as soon as Iget clean from work, but it'll be a little long winded for me so it will take me just one moment. also I am going to discuss with the other officers my idea's for what will happen if you no show.
