My second WWS attempt:
http://wowwebstats.com/odrgwhdczighk
The first attempt was for Friday and I forgot to turn it off so my alts data got mixed in and I gave up on it. For this one, I must have done something wrong because I seem to be missing 4 players altogether, including the person with the most damage.
Also, when you edit a post in a thread, it doesn't seem to mark it as unread again. I hadn't noticed that Hav had added the friday and saturday cause I assumed it would mark them as modifyed/unread. Kinda annoying but oh well. |

2 questions for ya plate that may help on ur wws
1) did u autoupdate the actors and scroll through it to check and make sure its got everyone correctly? with every log you do you have to auto update so if someone new is there that time it adds them. also you gotta dbl the actors and make sure it has them labeled right.. for example on mine it had botek marked as a mob so i had to fix it and say he was a hunter along with a few others.
2) whats your combatlog range set at? defualt is only 20 yards. on most kara bosses it doesn't matter much cu most people are pretty well grouped together, but when u get to bosses like netherspite gruuls VR everyone is spread out so those more than 20yrds away doesn't get recorded. i set my log for 200 yrds. this can be done with a series of pain in the booty complicated commands or if you have damage meter you can adjust it through there much easier.
also on another note combining logs is more accurate than just one person's log so if you would like we can exchange e-mails and send eachother our logs so we can combine them. |

Thanks Hav. I hadn't updated the actors and so a few were listed as mobs, etc. I have two macros that do the range modification stuff, so I should be fine with that.
Odd, I managed to miss your last paragraph and was writing on how we should merge logs. Seeing as you're raid leader, I'll send you my logs. Which email should I send them to?
To drnknthorn, I think WWS has a lot of uses. For me I generally use it to check overall overheal and to see how stuff compares up but I know of uses to check mana efficiency and all. It can also be used to look for issues if say we wipe a ton of times on a boss for say lack of dispells, etc. I suppose I'll be using it a lot more when my shaman hits 70 to see if my DPS is high enough for Kara. |

| Drnknthorn, I know I used it back when I was evaluating new mage recruits. You can see how many times they cast spells, what spells they are casting, damage putting out, how much they are being healed, etc. It is a very useful tool when you are trying new specs as well. Another thing is when 25 mans hit hard and serious, we can see who is doing their job. 25 mans are not 40 mans where 10 or so people were slacking and it didn't matter, 25 mans have to have EVERYONE doing the best they can. This tool will help officers to see and discuss what a person can be doing better to help the raid. |

| WWS is Important... For rogues with things like shade, it's good to looks back and see how many kicks were got off, and if we wiped due to mana, who could pick up a bit etc. |
