it took us 5 trys but we got that fucker. first i'd like to thank craitos soo much for going tree. i've said it before, i'll say it again and keep on saying it ... /drool tree's. another thing i noticed i myself tried a little sumthing on the last attempt (the death) on flight phase i would completely stop healing relying on rogath nessa and craitos for the heals and i just spammed dispell. i got off 18 dispells on the death dispelling that damn dot that always kicks my ass. i noticed that dot ticks almost as hard as holy fire on maiden and that very possibly could have been our biggest problem during flight phase. so my conclusion is this..

1) ground phase HOTS FTW. they helped tremendously at fear times when the healers were feared
2) flight phase: DISPELL the dot

Its funny that you can clearly see Simbots death and how it impacted Shade #1 try. Stupid running into the blizzard...heh.

Hey, just curious if there was a bug during Maiden? It looks like Holy did next to no damage. Is that a glitch or was it on purpose cause he was doing other things like dispells? Help me understand how to read that...

no holy wasn't doing dmg on maiden he was helping dispell as only me and him could. on maiden its kinda hard for a spell user like holy to mellee. when maiden does that consecration it silences you therefore you cannot cast. if holy was to stand up there and try to dps he prolly would have rarely gotten any of his seals/judgements off because of the silence. that is also why my heals on maiden dropped way down because usually nessa has this thing that she can just break out of repent but we didn't have nessa so i was having to take and step in melee range 10 seconds prior to repent taking the silence then after repent step out.. i was onlu able to catch 2 of them that way, i need to work on doing that again. that was how i had always done it before without a holy pally but i kinda got used to not having to do it and to get back in practice lol.

also i want to note how amazed i was last night. we did sum stuff that was almost impossible.

1) we downed moroes with only 1 shackle and 1 trap. using a ret pally and enh shammy to off tank the adds
2) we downed maiden with only 2 dispells
3) we downed R&J the hardest opera boss with only 2 interrupts
4) we downed curator with only 2 evo's (that says it all right there)
5) we downed shade with only 2 interrupts AND on the death one he nvr polymorphed/pyro'd

that just goes to show what vulgar can really do when we mean bussiness.
