Wondering how much your bonus damage actually adds to your shadow bolt?

Want to know how much damage reduction is added with another 1k armor?

Or maybe you want to know at what point your hemo attacks become more damage efficient per energy point spent than sinister strike?

If you do have any of these questions, or another that you're curious about, look no further.

When bored at work, I research these things. Ive made graphs and spreadsheets calculating my mutilate damage with other daggers and higher AP. I guess this makes me a math nerd.

Regardless, if you have any theory crafting or in-game mechanics questions, Ill be glad to help you out.

Just for fun, Im going to take a look at Milicious' Shadow Bolts...

vX = Spell Damage Bonus
vY = Casting Time
vZ = Actual Damage Added

Populate with Milicious variables...
vX = 500
vY = 3.0

Base Equation : vZ = vX * (vY / 3.5)
vZ = 500 * (3.0 / 3.5)
vZ = 500 * 0.8571
vZ = 428.55

Therefore at 500 bonus spell damage, 428.55 damage is added to every shadow bolt. This includes any instant cast SBs from Nightfall or reduced cast time from Bane, because base variables are alway used.

IDK nihil lol. I was in the guild when there was only 7 people and I'm only officer. It's only a rank tho. Just cuz your a member doesn't make you any less important or less "cool".
